It is aimed at new or experienced managers, as well as bar owners who want to learn or expand their knowledge in managing a contemporary and competitive bar.
Seminar or WebinarThe "Management for HO.RE.CA.Program" seminars are held in two ways: a) Seminar hold within Bar Academy of Athens b) Online (webinar) via ZOOM platform. The webinar version of the seminar is conducted live by our instructors and the presence of the students is necessary on the days and times of the scheduled seminar. The training provided is exactly the same in both ways. |

Module 4: Total Quality Management & Introduction to Logistics – Warehouse management in the food sector – Market & Suppliers
The purpose of the educational program is the development of the fundamental principles and concepts of Total Quality Management in companies as well as the philosophy of an organized quality system. The differences in Quality between products and services, with a separate capital for the measurement of the concept of quality in services as well as the development of the SERVQUAL model. There is an introduction to the general theory of Logistics for the accumulation of basic knowledge, followed by a separate chapter on warehouse management in the food sector, where information is given for the entire range of food storage. Moreover, an analysis of the market is attempted at a practical level as well as an analysis of the correct supplier selection process.
After completing Module 4, participants will be able to:
⁕ Understand the concept of quality in business
⁕ Recognize the importance of a Total Quality Management system
⁕ Separate quality in products from quality in services
⁕ Understand the SERVQUAL model
⁕ Identify the basic concepts of Logistics and inventory management
⁕ Organize through practical information an integrated storage system
⁕ Choose the equipment & furnishing of their food department through practical advice and suggestions
⁕ Recognize the importance of the correct purchasing policy and the corresponding procedure
⁕ Organize the research and selection of their suppliers
Certificate of Attendance .
A successful "Participant Assessment" is required in order to receive "Educational Program Attendance Certificate" which includes:
- Participation in all program presentations
- Completion and submission of assignments/exercises
- Evaluation of sufficient understanding of the material by the instructors .
The "Certificate of Attendance" is not awarded until the "Participant Evaluation" is successfully completed. Students may repeat the program, as per the “free repeat” policy - contact us for more information.
